One look at this breathtaking Bali wedding and you’ll see why couples make this exotic isle their wedding playground.
Blessed with sunshine and brimming with laughter and happy tears, Deanne and Daniel’s picture-perfect ‘I do’ played out around the luxurious beachfront surrounds of Conrad Bali in Nusa Dua. It was the resort’s iconic Infinity Chapel that drew the couple to the Island of the Gods. “Conrad Bali’s Infinity Chapel is beautiful with breathtaking beach views and a long walkway,” says Deanne. “The resort is also large and family-friendly, which was important to us. Also, the Balinese food there is amazing.”
With 130 guests jetting in from around the world, the Australian-based couple knew they wanted an elegant, memorable, and stress-free celebration. They just needed the right team to make it happen. “As we live in Australia, and only travel to Bali once a year, we didn’t know the perfect vendors for our wedding,” says Deanne. “Luckily, we had an amazing wedding planner and team that helped us choose the best vendors to achieve our vision. Any issues on the day were also easily resolved by our team, and we enjoyed the wedding without a worry in the world.”
The bride’s preparations hold a special place in her heart, especially sharing her stunning Euphorie Studios gown. “My wedding dress reveal with my dad and immediate family is a precious memory,” she says. “It was so amazing to have captured and experienced such an intimate moment with my family who went above and beyond for this wedding.”
Then it was time. Sunlight streaming into the chapel, Deanne and Daniel pledged their vows with loved ones feeling every emotion along with them before stepping into the sunshine as Mr & Mrs, the chapel’s sculptural silhouette popping against the blue Bali skies. What a moment!
“Our guests have described it as a beautiful, heartfelt wedding where they really felt the love between us,” says Deanne. “The venue really tied it all together,” she adds of the day’s sequence of events and stunning backdrops. Just as the couple hoped, food was also a highlight. “Even a simple soup bowl was really tasty. The chef’s chicken skewers were juicy and packed full of flavour. Everyone raved about the deconstructed live migoreng noodle station at the after-party too.”And the day’s funniest moment? “Besides my husband crying at every activity, the funniest moment would be the scavenger hunt game,” says Deanne. “The guests really got involved and two of the boys went flying as they jumped for the last chair and collided with the floral installations. The last one standing was my competitive younger sister! Girl power!!”
Teamwork made the dream work for this pair. “Invest in a good team with a good wedding planner,” is Deanne’s advice for other couples. “They will look after you on the day and make sure everything will go smoothly. You can sit back and enjoy being the guests of honour at your own wedding. That is goals.”
The newlyweds kept the holiday mood going with a three-country sojourn. A family vacation in Bali with Daniel’s immediate family was followed by a trip to Vietnam to spend time with Deanne’s family before an ‘official’ honeymoon in Japan.
