A beach location and time spent with loved ones led to this couple’s dream celebration…
Exchanging vows on the beach was top of Kahlia and Luke’s wishlist when it came time for them to tie the knot. Falling in love with Thailand’s Centara Grand Resort, the two planned a splendid beach wedding by the resort’s shimmering waters, under a perfect blue sky. “We absolutely loved being able to marry on the beach and we simply adore Thailand,” says Kahlia. “The setting and the friendly people made our entire wedding so relaxed and just amazing!”
Celebrating with their nearest and dearest (including their super-cute son, Mason), Kahlia and Luke capped off their ideal day with a fabulous reception in Centara’s classic ballroom. “Our wedding felt so intimate and everything was utterly stunning,” says Kahlia. “All the styling was beautiful and there were fresh flowers everywhere! The Thai fare was also amazing! And thankfully – everyone knows that food can make or break a wedding.” We’ll second that.
Before cutting their scrumptious cake, the couple listened to heartwarming speeches, with one really standing out. “During my dad’s speech he talked about how beautiful our son is and how lucky we all are,” remembers Kahlia. “Mason suddenly squealed at the top of his lungs and started clapping loudly. It was as if he was agreeing with his Poppy that he really is the best son ever!”
Making the most of the occasion, Kahlia and Luke extended the festivities for a few extra days and enjoyed every moment of it. “We’re beyond blessed to have married in such a beautiful location,” says Kahlia. “We’ll always hold that memory in our hearts. It really was a fairytale wedding!”
