This couple’s dream venue proved to be the perfect setting for dancing and dining under the stars..
They say when you know, you just know. For Robert, this was true on two occasions. Once when he popped the question to his gorgeous girlfriend, Kobhi, and then again when deciding on a wedding venue. “We stayed at the Conrad Bali in 2013, and Rob said if we ever got married he wanted to have the wedding at its Infinity Chapel,” says Kobhi. We don’t blame him; with its striking architectural silhouette and magnificent water views, the chapel is kind of hard to go past.
Surrounded by family, friends and their two children, the couple pledged “we do” in a ceremony as romantic as the groom had first imagined. “Then we dined out on the lawn in front of the Infinity Chapel, under sparkling fairy lights,” says Kobhi. ‘It was so lovely and the food was amazing!”
After enjoying speeches so moving “I still cry when I watch the video,” the bride says it was time to hit the dance floor. “We wanted to get all the formalities out of the way quickly so everyone could just have fun and dance the night away.” In an unexpected twist, the evening’s funniest moment was actually perfectly choreographed. “Everyone lost it when my bridesmaids surprised us with a special Hannah Montana-inspired dance!” Kobhi says.
Filled with laughter and sweet memories, Kobhi and Robert’s wedding became an extended celebration for all. “We stayed in Bali for an extra week after the wedding, hung out with our guests and continued the festivities,” says Kobhi. “Everyone said it was one of the best weddings they’ve ever been to!”
